The Title

But now I want to say that perhaps my view on life has changed. Because the world may be a horrible place, and we may have made terrible mistakes, and we may have even fucked up ourown futures, but that doesn't mean we should give up on ourselves. And saying "The World Can Kiss My Ass" is like saying, screw this trash pile, I'm out of here, I disown you and your blatant faults. But even when I created this webpage, that's not how I felt about the world. I get so frustrated with society, and our inability to see our mistakes when they're commited. A popular essay topic in history is why they even teach it in schools. The answer is always so that we don't make the same mistakes they made "back then." And it's so discouraging to know that it doesn't happen. We haven't learned from the hatred and the ignorance and the disasters of the past. We're just like our careless and naive ancestors. So I'm torn. Because there is no meaning to life. We're just here. But does that mean that our existence itself is pointless? Of course not. I have made it my goal to live the best life I can live. My life philosophy is just to be happy. And this webpage has given me so many new experiences and it has made me realize so much about myself and the people around me. And I'd like to say that I have learned from the mistakes that I've made in the history of this webpage. Mistakes have to be made if a person is going to grow and change. And I guess they can really be a good thing.
Now the question is, what to do with the title of this webpage. Would it confuse people too much to change it? But then again I almost don't want to change it because it is a thought-provoking title. I mean, it's made me question so much about what I believe. And so maybe it's real meaning is not that the world can actually "kiss it." It's more like: so many people just give up on life and society, so many people don't want to be happy; they let their hatred burn inside them destroying any chance for a good life, they say "The world can KISS MY ASS!" And so the title is a representation of this populus. It's a contradiction and a plea. A plea to reconsider and to try and make this a world that has no reason to kiss it.
